The great collaboration
10 January 2005
The reality TV shows have conquered the world but are far from being happy with what they already have owned. Recently, the two grandiose industries have decided to collaborate, Las Vegas, the Sin city and the hottest center of the reality-based –TV industry. At the core of this magnificent coupling there is infinite number of possibilities which are bound to beget an incredible show. For the past 35 years the use of cameras on casino floors was strictly prohibited, but the producers of "Caesars 24/7" got an extraordinary access to the landmark casino. The setting was all of a sudden amassed with cameras to videotape every single minute of the action. As to the players taking part in this show, their faces are not revealed to the wide audience.
One of the incredible things captured by cameras, was the hitting of three "0" in a roulette session by a high-rolling Miami singer, who wagered $5,000 a roll. There were, however, some too good to be true moments that were bordering with fiction. A hip-hope panhandler was encouraged to wager his humble possessions on the probability of grabbing a large share at the blackjack table. He lost, but at a $5 minimum table, to a dealer from the high-limit pits but shortly after was approached by a dazzling dealer who forwarded him to the piano player for an advice. The player just happened to pull out the right pages on the spot, letting the lad to do his act.
