Casino drafting is fading away

Twin Cities have found themselves in the midst of fierce debates over casino gambling. Three Wisconsin tribes have appealed to U.S Supreme Court in the mutual desire to enrich Indian reservation with slot machines, but their petition was declined.
Spokesman for the tribes, Mark Goff pessimistically announced that there is virtually no sense in making further proceedings with the current application, as it doesn't have a chance to win the approval.
Back in 1995, the establishment of casino was rejected by the U.S Department of the Interior. The agency was sued on the grounds of its pursuits with the $400,000 contributions to the national Democratic Party from Minnesota tribes that were threatened by a Hudson casino. Congressional hearings together with criminal investigations followed that suit, but no indictments were made. In 2001, the Interior Department has reached a compliance to reconsider the proposal, but McCallum vetoed it.
