U.S. Claims Top Spot in International Representation at ICE 2005
17 March 2005
ATE Online, one of the internet's leading information providers for the casino and gaming industry, recently published attendance statistics for this year's International Casino Exhibition (ICE), which took place this past January at London's Earls Court. In total, 102 jurisdictions were represented at the event and close to 200 companies and organizations sponsored exhibits. Naturally, the highest participant presence was local, with 3,836 attendees coming from locations across the UK.
As far as international representation is concerned, however, the U.S. claimed the highest participation, whose overall attendance rates were up from last year's convention. Coming in at a close second was Spain, and the remaining top ten attending countries were also European. Of the countries boasting the highest representation, seven demonstrated increases compared to last years' attendance rates. Most significant increases were recorded for France, Russia and Sweden. At this year's event, 36 attending countries cited their highest ICE attendance rates ever. The original report is available http://www.ateonline.co.uk.
The next ICE event is scheduled to take place between the 24th and 26th of January, 2006, at London's Earls Court 2.
