Online Sports Betting Comes to Bulgaria with SportingBet and GIG

SportingBet, the online sports betting and casino giant, recently expanded its deal with Global Interactive Gaming (GIG) to integrate GIG's services on its Bulgarian site. GIG, a subsidiary of Interactive Systems Worldwide Inc., supplied the Bulgarian site with SportXction(TM), its play-by-play sports betting system.

The SportXction software system features real-time wagering on a play-by play basis, meaning that betters can place bets after the game has already begun. Betters can watch the game either live or via a television or internet broadcast or listen to it on the radio.

With the addition of the SportXction betting service, the new Bulgarian site will allow wagering for more than 1,000 events in the next year, supporting a similar range of games as is offered on SportingBet's other UK and global sites.
