Online Gambling Site Betcris Buys Ad Space on Jockey's Clothes

Online sports book and poker site Betcris.com is moving in on the territory of famed (or infamous) online casino Golden Palace. Until now, buying offbeat advertising space on eBay has been one of Golden Palace's trademarks, but not for long. Betcris recently place the winning bid of $15,000 for the rights to lay its name on Jockey Patrick Valenzuela's pants legs and collar.
The initial agreement between Valenzuela and Betcris stretches for two months, after which both parties have the option of extending the "lease." Valenzuela was quoted as saying that the $15,000 fee was modest, compared to more profitable deals he hopes to entertain in the future.
