European Gambling Briefing to be Held This Month in Brussels

In just over two weeks, the European Gambling Briefing will commence in Brussels, discussing the influence of law and economics on today's European gambling industry. The two-day conference, scheduled for April 25th and 26th, targets not only lawyers and regulators, but also online and land-based gambling operators, supplier companies and industry organizations.
The conference promises to discuss a wide range of topics relevant to the EU gaming community, such as, the gaming industry in new EU member states, with a focus on Eastern Europe and its effect on Gambling in the rest of the European Union. The UK's currently debated Gambling Bill will also be one of the major topics discussed at the conference. A number of industry experts will speak, including event chairman Bill Galston, who is the former Chief Inspector and current Director of Gambling Governance for Great Britain's Gaming Board.
