Commonwealth Telephone Enterprises (CTE) to Offer Online Casino Games

Commonwealth Telephone Enterprises, Inc. (CTE), Zone4Play, Inc., and Exent Technologies have announced that they have signed an agreement, which will allow CTE to offer online casino games to its customers.
Zone4Play, Inc. offers a variety of cross-platform gaming software, while Exent Technology has developed tools for secure transfers of CD-quality games. Using the technologies offered by the two companies, CTE will be able to offer subscribers a variety of options.
The Zone4Play technology will provide internet gambling games such as Bingo, Blackjack, Video Poker, Caribbean Poker, Texas Holdem Poker, Slot Machine games, and Roulette, with options of free casino play or real gambling for money.
Using Exent Technology’s system, CTE subscribers will also be able to download a variety of top games produced by leading software publishers. These games will include sports games, action games, children’s games, educational software, and strategy games.

The variety of game selections - from casino to adventure to educational - will ensure that there is something for everyone to enjoy. Our agreements with both Zone4Play and Exent Technologies allow CTE to provide its customers with an outstanding entertainment component to our existing suite of voice, video and data products and services."
He said that the two packages will be separate, and customers will be able to subscribe to either or both services for a monthly fee. Exent’s system will replace traditional game rentals, by providing games on demand. Customers will have a wide variety of games to choose from, with no concern over whether the game is in stock.
Idan Miller, senior VP of Marketing and Sales at Zone4Play is excited about the deal. "We are honored to propose some of our best portfolio games to CTE's customers. Our multi-player games, and especially the multi-player Texas Hold'em Poker - the most playable game on the Internet today - and our new ground-breaking multi-player Black Jack, will add tremendous opportunity for fun and excitement."
CTE expects to begin offering the services by August or September, 2005.
