Maple and Thunderluck Online Casinos Get eCOGRA Seals of Approval

eCOGRA, a London-based company which monitors and grants seals of approval to online casinos, has just granted two new seals, bringing the total number of approved casinos to 53. eCommerce and Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance (eCOGRA) is a company which uses independent auditors to monitor online gaming sites. Online casinos which are approved by all three independent directors on eCOGRA’s board are given a “Play it Safe” seal.
In order to receive the seal, gaming sites must meet a variety of criteria. They must pass tests ensuring that the probability of winning is fair and not computer-controlled against the player. They must also be fast and efficient in their payout policy. In addition, the casino is required to record players’ personal information and keep it private, ensure site security, and discourage problem gambling habits. Regarding the sites online gaming platform, casino software must meet certain standards, including ensuring that players don’t suffer losses as a result of connectivity problems.
