Online Casino Golden Palace Buys a Used Pregnancy Test

Online casino GoldenPalace.com has done it again. After the $28,000 cheese sandwich they ordered from eBay, it’s hard to imagine being surprised by a new purchase, but wonders never cease. The online casino has since purchased a supposedly haunted cane, the rights to name a baby, ad space on boxers’ backs (using temporary tattoos), and ad space on the side of a car two army soldiers plan to take on a road trip.
Golden Palace's latest purchase is possibly the strangest yet. It’s a pregnancy test, used, positive. It’s Britney Spears’ pregnancy test, showing that she and husband Kevin Federline are expecting. A worker at the Los Angeles hotel where Spears was staying picked it out of a garbage can, and sold it to a radio station in Ottawa, Canada. The radio station, Hot 89.9, held the used test for a few weeks before deciding to auction it on eBay for charity.
The $5,001 winning bid will be donated to the Ottawa chapter of the Easter Seals and Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Trust.
