Online Casinos to Add Mahjong?

Online casinos may soon see the rise of a new game. Mahjong is one of China’s most popular games. 45% of Chinese adults report having played Mahjong for money. Although less than 10% of Chinese have regular internet access, Mahjong Systems Ltd believes that the game can be a boon to online casinos, and they have designed Mahjong Mania.

Mahjong Mania, the only software for online Mahjong which aggregates wagers from a variety of sites, has been licensed to online casino and gaming company Gambling Federation, for use initially on the VideoPokerClassic.com website. Gambling Federation hopes to use Mahjong Mania to penetrate the difficult Asian online gambling market. Events International Holding Corporation is currently in the process of buying out Mahjong Systems Ltd.
