Although initially planning to acquire 50 acres at a specific Reno site, Casino operator Station Casinos has reportedly modified its purchase agreement with Reno Retail Co. II LLC, allowing the company to buy 33 acres more than the amount originally outlined in the agreement. The 83-acre plot of land will become home to one of Stations Casinos' planned Reno casino properties.
The forthcoming casino is part of Station Casinos' general corporate strategy to purchase properties in Reno. This casino location is one of three future Station Casinos venues in Reno. Station Casinos has set its sights on the Reno gaming market, reportedly citing the city as a viable source for potential growth.
