Casino Media Group Reaches Millions of Casino Players
4 November 2005
For about a year, Casino Media Group (CMG) has been targeting casino players in the US and Canada with its communication and advertising campaigns, which are fully integrated. These campaigns include OOH media, casino POS, on-table felts, on-poker chips, and on-playing cards. CMG is also involved in the organization of celebrity gala events, which include in-house gaming tournaments and free-play promotional tournaments.
CMG has agreements with over 150 US casinos that gives it wide access on the casino floor and its 60 million adult consumers who made a total of about 300 million casino trips in 2004. “Casinos are an untapped adult media landscape,” said Walter Marcinowski, Marketing Director at CMG. “The audience is highly affluent, they travel extensively and they are predisposed to trying new things. They are a very desirable advertising target.”
CMG research shows that women casino players total 54% of the market. The company identifies demographic gaming preferences, which allow advertisers to target certain groups; for example: males who range in the ages of 21 to 34 who prefer to play poker.
