First On-Land Casino in Mississippi to Open

The Isle of Capri, the first legal casino to open on Mississippi waters, will be in first place once again by being the first Mississippi casino to open on land this Monday. The current structure may be temporary, but it promises not offer any less to its gamblers. The casino will boast a new buffet, a poker room and a huge gambling area with table games and a wide variety of slot machines.

The Isle of Capri casino has expanded its restaurant from 60 to 90 seats. The buffet will be half the size, but reportedly of a higher quality. The Gulf Coast's top chefs have been chosen to work at the casino, and preparations have already begun in the kitchen.
The casino hotel has already begun taking reservations, and it is expected that many people will attend the opening. Moreover, 550 out of the 740 rooms in the hotel have already been reserved for this coming weekend.
