Israel Hands Over Citizen Accused of Throwing Grenade at Prague Casino

Yakov Moshaylov, the Israeli citizen who was accused of throwing a hand grenade at a car outside Casino Royal in Prague has been extradited by Israeli authorities to the Czech Republic. Moshaylov was flown to Prague under extremely strict conditions. Courts are currently deciding whether or not he should remain in custody.
Moshaylov was charged with the endangerment of public safety after throwing a hand grenade outside of the casino in Prague in August 2004. The casino is owned by Assaf Abutboul, who is believed to be the main target of this attack. Eighteen people were injured in the attack. Abutboul, however, escaped without a scratch.
Moshaylov could face up to 15 years in prison in the Czech Republic for throwing the hand grenade and putting the lives of those who were in the vicinity of the casino at risk.
