Harrah's Casino Shooter Caught by Police
22 February 2006
Visitors to Harrah's Casino in Las Vegas must have felt like they were in a movie this week due to a shooting that took place on the 20th floor of the casino and a seven-hour standoff between police and the shooter that followed.
It was reported that two men at the Las Vegas casino were involved in an argument that led to one shooting the other. The shooter ran away and hid in a nearby room. Guests were evacuated from the 19th, 20th and 21st floors while police negotiated with the gunman. Apparently the gunman shot at police officers during this standoff.
Police had to break a window on the 29th floor of the casino in order to capture the hiding suspect. Investigations are currently being held in order to determine the reason for this feud.
