Las Vegas' Red Rock Casino to Use Exclusive Cash Counting Technology
15 April 2006
Las Vegas' newest gaming facility, the Red Rock Casino Resort Spa, which is slated for opening this month, will feature highly secure cash counting technology provided by JCM American Corporation, a prominent currency handling systems developer. The casino's operators revealed that the venue will exclusively use JCM's Universal Bill Acceptor (UBA) and Intelligent Cash Box (ICB).
The UBA is a highly advanced bill validator that utilizes newly-developed magnetic and optical sensors. The device is completed by its forward/backward-compatible, high-impact Plastic Cash Box. The ICB system connects the gaming floor to the backend, making all financial transactions less vulnerable to human errors during casino drop and count processes.
Tom Nieman, JCM Vice President of Gaming Solutions, was quoted as saying, "Being at Red Rock is very exciting news for JCM. The property will set a new standard in 'locals' casinos. Clearly, Station Casinos has carefully selected only the very best for this new property, and we are honored to be a part of that exclusive group of suppliers."
